Dr. Tim Sproule has been practicing medicine for 23 years. During this time Dr Sproule has built a strong reputation amongst his patients and his peers as a highly skilled plastic surgeon who performs the full range of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures in the Greater Toronto Area including Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington, Toronto, and Scarborough. Dr Sproule’s skill and experience allows him to perform such sophisticated plastic surgery procedures as belt-lipectomy (body lift) and open rhinoplasty.
Dr. Sproule has privileges at several hospitals where he has established a wide-ranging practice that includes many types of laser, cosmetic and general reconstructive procedures. Dr. Sproule’s cosmetic practice is based at The Evolution Laser & Rejuvenation Centre, which is his free-standing surgical and laser treatment centre. He considers this to be one of the finest, inclusive facilities in the Toronto area for the safe and effective management of a multitude of cosmetic concerns.
Dr. Sproule's personal practice philosophy revolves around you, the patient. Each plastic surgery consultation is performed personally by Dr Sproule so that every patient will have the benefit of Dr Sproule’s extensive experience in plastic surgical procedures first hand.
Dr. Sproule’s wonderful bed side manner coupled with his knowledge and experience in plastic cosmetic surgical procedures such as breast augmentation, liposuction, and tummy tuck results in continual patient referrals which make up the majority of Dr. Sproule’s plastic surgery practice. Dr. Sproule meets with each and every patient personally at the time of your very first visit. He allows ample time for your questions and listens attentively to your goals and your concerns, and then plans your individualized care to achieve your desired results.
Dr. Sproule graduated from medical school in 1980 from the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. During his medical school years, he electively trained at Guy's Hospital in London, England, and also at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, USA, where he worked extensively with severe burn victims, an experience that motivated him to continue training in Plastic Surgery. He followed this with a rotating Internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ontario in 1980-81, and then returned to Edmonton to complete a residency and a fellowship in Plastic Surgery.
After receiving his Specialty Certification (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgery, Canada, or FRCSC) in Plastic Surgery in 1985, he traveled to Scotland, where he spent 1 ½ years training at the West of Scotland Plastic and Oral Surgery Unit based at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, learning advanced techniques in many subspecialty areas of Plastic Surgery, along with fellows from around the world
